This morning Pastor Shaffer gave a great reminder of how we as Christians are called to constantly pray for our great nation.
"Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned."
This morning Pastor Shaffer shared a message from Acts 8 about Philip witnessing to the Ethiopian eunuch. He challenged us to go out and seek those whom God wants us to witness to.
"Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot."
This morning Brother Schwanke concluded our revival services this morning with a powerful message about loving your neighbor.
"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
This morning Pastor Shaffer gave a special message out of Acts 11 in honor of Pastor Joe's final service with us.
"Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea."
This morning Pastor Shaffer shared a message from James 4 to prepare our hearts for the upcoming revival services by looking inward and dealing with selfishness and pride.
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."
