Are You Put Low or Puffed Up?

This morning Pastor continued his series from 1 Corinthians 4. He spoke on pride and humility and how we should not be "puffed up".

 

 

1 Corinthians 4:18-20

¹⁸ Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

¹⁹ But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

²⁰ For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

This evening Pastor Wayne Johnson continued his missions series out Philippians 4.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

This evening Pastor Wayne Johnson opened up our "Serving As Senders" missions conference with a message from Philippians 4:10-19. He spoke on how the church should partner with missionaries to spread the gospel.

 

Philippians 4:17

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Faithful Stewardship, Ultimate Judgment

This morning Pastor Franseen shared with us from 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. He spoke about bringing glory to God by serving our fellow man.

 

 

 

1 Corinthians 4:1-5

 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Living as a Church by Resolving Conflicts Biblically

This morning Pastor continued to speak out of 1 Corinthians. This weeks topic was resolving conflicts between believers.

Following God's Path

This morning Dr. Hubert Hartzler spoke from Psalms 1. He spoke about continuing to follow God in our daily christian walk.

 

Psalm 1:1

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Call It Like It Is

Pastor Franseen spoke this morning from I Corinthians 3:1-9 about carnality and how it can manifest it self in our lives and affect those around us.

I Corinthians 3:3

"For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?"

 

 

Unity Through God's Wisdom

Pastor Franseen spoke this morning out of 1 Corinthians 2. He spoke about unity in the church and how it's not about power but service.

Raising Godly,Hopeful Children

Pastor Franseen spoke this morning about raising a generation of children who put their hope in God and his promises out of the instructional Psalm 78 vs 4-7

"That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments."
